Highland Single Malts.
Highland Single Malts are Scotch whiskies produced in the largest distilling region of Scotland.

Confusingly, the area also includes certain lowland areas in the North-East of the country such as Banffshire and Aberdeenshire.

Generally, the Highlands region is one of big-bodied whiskies, often peated and smoky, often very powerful.
