The GlenDronach 12 Years Old Sauternes Cask Finish was initially matured in European Oak casks and thereafter nished its maturation in a very small batch of Sauternes wine barrels, giving the final whisky its own range of unique avours and aromas. Bottled at 46%, non chill ltered and natural colour. Colour: Crisp summer gold; Nose: Torrents of fresh fruits, apricots and nectarine ow to honeydew melon and distant hints of overripe banana. A gentle aromatic oral note balances with creamy vanilla to give a sophisticated back note to the nose; Taste: Wildower honey oods over sweet sultanas and green apples. A dusting of ground almonds, vanilla and creamy toasted oak combines with a vibrant citrus twist, giving a rich, spicy depth and contrasting fresh balance; Conclusion: Sweet, fresh and fragrant with balanced acidity. ![]() Benriach / 15 Year Old Pedro Ximinez Finish £ 49.50 Country: Scotland Region: Speyside Age: Strength: 46.% 70cl Summary: Country/Region: Scotland/Speyside. ABV: 46% Unit: 70cl Age: 15 Year Old. Matured in the traditional style in American bourbon barrels, this whisky is then nished in Pedro Ximenez Sherry butts, sourced from the bodegas of Jerez de la Frontera in Andalucia, Southern Spain. During this second period of Maturation the whisky derives many interesting characteristics specic to the Pedro Ximenez butt. Colour: Gold. Nose: Honey, sultanas, dark chocolate with a ood of Pedro Ximenez Sherry. Taste: Cream and honey, infused with papaya, rosehips, eucalyptus and dark chocolate, all interwoven with rich Pedro Ximenez Sherry and oak wood.
