Glenfiddich

Glenfiddich was established by William Grant in 1876, with the first spirit running off the stills in 1887. Today the company is still run by his descendants and as the first whisky to truly market itself as a single malt, Glenfiddich now accounts for about 30% of all single malt sales worldwide.
The iconic triangular green bottle was introduced in 1957 and can now be found in just about every licensed establishment (and probably most of the unlicensed ones as well) in the world.
What first hits you about the fresh and fragrant Glenfiddich Special Reserve is the touch of pear in the nose, followed by a distinctive, well-balanced flavour of rich fruit, subtle pine and a hint of peatiness.
