75cl / 50% / Distillery Bottling – A very rare official bottling of Rosebank, this high-strength 15yo dates from the 1980s (when the distillery was still open) and has a wonderful old-fashioned steely austerity uncharacteristic for such a relatively easy-going spirit. Water reveals a bitter lemon and other tangy citrus notes. A classic of this ‘pure’ style.

75cl / 43% / Distillery Bottling – A delightful old bottling of Dalmore at 20 years old. This was bottled in the 1960s, when the distillery had just been purchased by Whyte & Mackay. Serge Valentin on whiskyfun.com gave it 93 points and commented it was sweet, fruity and full of secondary flavours.

Toiteach is Gaelic for Smoky, and apparently there’s some sherry influence on this as well. Kudos to Burn Stewart for bottling this unchilfiltered at 46%.
