This is a historic moment for the distillery and Longrow as they continue to grow older stocks of whisky, allowing them to expand our range. NOSE: There's a rich and meaty smoke, like beef jerky and Iberico ham followed by toffee, salted popcorn and honeyduw melon PALATE: Initially dark forest fruits and prunes, then a rich creaminess, amaretti biscuits and sweet dried coconut. This is balanced with fennel, pine needles and a delicate spiciness. FINISH: It's a delicious smooth finish with a citrus/orange tang, concluding on a luxurious velvet note with a touch smoke. |
