70cl / 61.2% / Signatory – A single cask bottling by Signatory of lost Lowlander Linlithgow (aka St. Magdalene). This is from the 1982 vintage, distilled shortly before the distillery closed, and has been matured in a Wine-treated butt. Presumably that means that the wine wasn’t matured fully in the butt before the whisky went in. Impressive full strength of 61.2%..
