Master of Malt have been very busy of late and in their quest to provide us with plenty of choice and variety have released some new malts and bottlings.
One of them is the Highland Park 13 Year Old – Single Cask malt whisky.
It is a delicious 13 year old Highland Park, distilled in 1997 and then bottled last year. After Chill Filtering it has been aged in a single refill bourbon hogshead and then bottled at the natural cask strength of 57%.
To add to it’s uniqueness there are only 281 mouth-watering bottles available.

Highland Park 13 Tasting Notes
Nose: Sherry comes in on the front of the nose switching to cherry, bakewell tart, peach, almonds & prosciutto.
Palate: Sweet to the front, changes to lemon citrus followed by mild tar & creamy smoke.
Finish: Sublimely long and creamy. Big on tangy fruit.
