Now this is a whisky you just need to sit down with to savour every moment. It's got everything that an Ardbeg should have, maybe even a little extra…

NOSE: A beautiful balance between peat and fruit, with lots of tropical fruits, as well as some nice tones of vanilla and even some caramels. It just keeps developing into more peatiness.

TASTE: What an amazingly balanced dram this is. Creamy with — once again — this beautiful peatiness. It needs some time to open up, but when it does, fruits and vanilla break through marvellously.

FINISH: The peatiness keeps lingering, but is extremely well balanced with the hints of fruit. It even develops into a liquorice kind of note.

An absolutely stunning Ardbeg, that is balanced to near-perfection.

ABV: 59.2% Vol.

"Fugaku Sanjurokkei" is a series of landscape prints by the prominent Japanese ukiyo-e (pictures of the floating world) artist Hokusai. The term literally means "36 Views of Mount Fuji", for which Hokusai depicts Mount Fuji from different locations in various weather conditions. Karuizawa has adopted the theme and introduced Fugaku Sanjurokkei Series, exhibiting one of the 36 striking prints in each release. These releases are drawn from casks of 1999 and 2000 vintages and bottled at cask strength.

Karuizawa distillery sat in the foothills of Mount Asama, where the chilly climate provided an excellent condition for the production of whisky. Though small, this distillery was known for producing whisky of the finest quality. The distillery was closed in 2011 and hence has made the Karuizawa whiskies extremely rare and valuable.

The 1999-2000 cask strength series comes from the final years of the distilleries production. This one is one of the latest releases in 2016 and marks the 8th edition of this series. This edition presents the "Yoshida on the Tokaido Highway". Living in the age of Edo, every day can be Sunday. The life is so free that they can have an up-and-go travel whenever they want to. The painting shows a tea room located on the Tōkaidō, where travelers can take a rest and enjoy the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.

This bottle of Karuizawa Whisky is presented to those on the road. Enjoy the taste of life.

Befitting of Bunnahabhain’s individuality, is our Senior Blender’s choice of Sherry Cask for this latest Limited Release. Palo Cortado Sherry is shrouded in myth and mystery. Almost all casks of this rare sherry varietal are laid down as Fino or Amontilado sherries. A natural phenomenon which occurs during maturation, causes the liquid to oxidise and age as an Oloroso sherry instead. This inexplicable twist of fate, can only be identified by the best Cellar Masters, and only impacts 1-2% of all sherries, making these casks all the more special.

This exquisite Bunnahabhain was first distilled and matured in 1997. Just like the expert Cellar Masters of the ‘Sherry Triangle’ in Spain, our Distillery Manager and Senior Blender identify the most special whiskies for finishing in the most special casks. It is with this expertise that this Bunnahabhain Single Malt was transferred to these extraordinary Palo Cortado casks, resulting in a deliciously sweet and nutty dram.

In their fifteenth anniversary year, Compass Box decided it was time to revisit their first-ever bottling and reinvent Hedonism once more.

Using grain whiskies of varying ages from four distilleries, Hedonism Quindecimus was a riotous, inter generational celebration of all that the interplay between grain spirit and American oak can deliver over the course of time.
