Chivas has launched ‘DoubleTake’ – an iPhone photo app that allows the person behind the camera, as well as the people in front, a chance to have their memories saved.

Using the iPhone’s camera technology to show both the subject and the photographer in the same photo, Chivas DoubleTake creates memories that really give the full picture.

Simultaneously activating the iPhone’s self-facing camera and the one shooting the subject, the app instantly creates a unique side-by-side image that’s ready to share via email, Facebook and Twitter.

Glenfiddich has launched an which is handy for those unable to visit Dufftown in Speyside Scotland where the founder William Grant and his seven sons built the distillery with their own bare hands.

The app gives you a taste of its distinct heritage, let’s you in on the intricacies of the whisky making process and gives you everything you need to know about Glenfiddich’s range of flawless single malts.

Available to download for free, the app brings the Glenfiddich experience to everyone – from whisky novices to aficionados – from the touch of a button.

Dram Directory: A handpicked selection of UK bars and restaurants that serve Glenfiddich. The feature uses the iPhone’s built-in geolocation technology to determine the whereabouts of the user and then presents a list of venues where they can enjoy a local dram. The directory also includes a recommendation engine and ‘invite a friend’ option (via text message, Facebook or Twitter).

Glenfiddich Distilled: A pocket-sized companion to Glenfiddich’s award-winning whisky, providing a barrelful of information, fast-facts and videos at the user’s fingertips.
