Glenmorangie Burgundy Finish
A more recent addition to the Glenmorangie range from The Whisky Exchange is `Glenmorangie Burgundy Finish`.
It is Burgundy cask which adds extra fruitiness and feels more luxuriant in the mouth. It’s a strong, spice (but not peppery) taste.
Other finishes are also available.
Glenmorangie was founded in 1843 and is Gaelic for ”vale of tranquility”. It’s a malt of great character and heritage with a unique flavour and bouquet.
While shopping recently for my next bottle of malt I inadvertantly I saw a great offer for a malt I’ve never tried. In the end the label was misplaced and the malt in question was not on offer but my dissapointment soon turned to joy when I tried it!
Oh and the name of the malt? BUNNAHABHAIN 12 Year Old.
