ABV: 55.7%.
Age: 21 Year Old.
Distilled/Bottled: 1982/2013.
Nose: honeycomb on speed: sharp, toasty, crispy sweet; lime on vanilla ice cream;
Taste: although the oak has dug in and makes an early impact, the spreading of what appears to be soft corn oils helps the ever-intensifying sugars to see off the underlying toastiness;
Finish: the sugars are now crystalline and persistent;
Balance: astonishingly invigorating. Leaps from the glass with intent and purpose. Wonderful!
Country/Region: Scotland/Lowland.

Summary: Longmorn Distillery is found between Glen of Rothes and Elgin. Its name is derived from the Gaelic, Lhanmorgund, which means "place of the holy man". This is a reference to the church which once stood there. Prior to the distillery being built in 1897, there had also been a grain mill on the site. R.J.S. McDowell considered Longmorn to be one of the top four malt whiskies.
Country/Region: Scotland/Speyside.
Unit: 70cl.
Abv: 43%.
Age: 45 Year Old.
Distilled/Bottled: 1967/2012.
Aroma without water: Soft and delicate, with a soft sweet Sherry nose, which mingles with ripe nectarine notes and hint of marzipan.
Taste without water: Initially sweet with a warming spiciness, ground black pepper. Stewed fruit and citrus flavours develop.
Aroma with water: Sweet and fresh with honey and a touch of aniseed. Sherry influences remain.
Taste with water: Creamy and rich with orange citrus fruit, stewed fruits and touch of pepper.

Rising in the hills beyond Glenlivet, The Conglass Water cascades downstream, flowing through the wild, rugged landscape of Highlands of Scotland. Eventually it meets the Livet, the smooth, flowing river that gives the region its name and inspires the taste of our whisky.
Nose: Sweet, citrusy orange and creamy vanilla flavours are balanced with delicate hints of almonds.
Taste: Incredibly smooth and sweet, this whisky is a treat for the taste buds. The creamy toffee flavours are  delicately balanced with the fruitiness of boiled sweets.
Finish: Long, smooth and slightly dry.

With spectacular views across Glenlivet, Gallow Hill slopes gently above the Distillery. This rugged and remote landscape has hardly changed since George Smith, The Glenlivet’s founder, first started distilling his whisky all those years ago.
Nose: Bursting with fruits from sweet clementine oranges and pears complemented perfectly with toasted almonds and moist, spicy gingerbread.
Taste: Wonderfully sweet orange flavours balanced with rich milk chocolate and a hint of treacle toffee.
Finish: Long and refreshing.
