ABV: 50% Vol. "Old Ballantruan" Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky is only one of a handful of peated malt whiskies from the Speyside region. After 'sleeping' for 10 years in hand-picked oak barrels, this whisky has been bottled at 50% volume and without any chill-filtration to retain its layered and integrated peaty flavours. COLOUR: Warm-gold. NOSE: Gentle waft of "peat reek", smoked campfires and subtle citrus fruit notes. TASTE: A mellow, dry peat with hints of lemon cheesecake, cocoa and shortbread. FINISH: Lingering smoke and peat with a light pepper kick.
