Linlithgow 1982 / 26 Year Old / Wine Treated Butt – Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Country: Scotland Region: Lowland Age: 26 Year Old Strength: 61.2% Vintage: 1982 Bottler: Summary: 70cl / 61.2% / Signatory – A single cask bottling by Signatory of lost Lowlander Linlithgow (aka St. Magdalene). This is from the 1982 vintage, distilled shortly before the distillery closed, and has been matured in a Wine-treated butt. Presumably that means that the wine wasn't matured fully in the butt before the whisky went in. Impressive full strength of 61.2%. |

Port Charlotte An Turas Mor – Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Country: Scotland Region: Islay Age: Strength: 46% Summary: 70cl / 46% / Distillery Bottling – 2010's release of Port Charlotte is a departure from previous years in two significant ways: as a multi-vintage vatting and being bottled at 46% rather than the humungous cask strength of the earlier PC's.
