Ben Nevis Ben Nevis Distillery is a Highland distillery situated at Inverlochy just north of Fort William on the west coast of Scotland and rests at the foot of Ben Nevis, Scotland’s highest mountain. Ben Nevis Distillery was established by John McDonald in 1825 and in order to meet the demand for fine Ben Nevis Highland malt whisky the Nevis Distillery was established in 1878.
